What do the kits offer
- Discreet and confidential sexual health checks for you and your partner.
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are extremely common, and most show no symptoms. If you’re concerned about your sexual health, or simply want to keep an eye on it, our range of checks will give you peace of mind.
Why getting tested for STIs is important
- 8 in 10 experience no symptoms
- 80% of some STIs can remain symptomless for years, causing long term, irreparable damage.
- STIs can cause infertility in men and women
Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea can cause long terms consequences such as pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility.
Protecting your partner
STI’s can remain undetected for years and you may have passed onto a new or recent partner. Stay safe and get tested together.
Simple 2
Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are the two most common STIs. Both infections can be symptomless and the only way to detect them is with a test. If you’re sexually active or have been in the past, it’s important to keep your sexual health in check. Early detection is crucial in reducing any long-term consequences that may have a considerably damaging effect on your health.
Long term consequences can include pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, chronic pelvic pain, infertility in women; and epididymitis, which causes infertility in men by inflaming the reproductive tubes.
Standard 6
Our most popular home STI test covers the 6 most common sexually transmitted infections. This test includes the same infections as provided by sexual health clinics, hospitals and government schemes and covers Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
As many STIs do not have symptoms, early detection and treatment is vital to avoid long term consequences. If you test positive, you will be able to start treatment immediately and avoid passing an infection to a partner.
Complete 12
Our broadest home STI test looks for 12 of the most common bacterial and viral infections. These include Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Gardnerella, Ureaplasma, Trichomonas, Mycoplasma and Herpes Simplex I & II which clinics do not usually test for.
